Relax'n - Beautiful newer South Venice home with pool and spa

Lesley and Doreen were wonderful! They answered any questions and always responded in a timely manner.

We (4 adults and 1 infant) stayed here for 2 weeks at the end of April, first week of May 2023. First - TMI Real Estate Company the staff (Lesley and Doreen) were excellent to deal with. They responded quickly to all email communications and the rental agreement was clearly laid out for us. They were very accommodating and offered to arrange for a playpen or highchair if needed. Second - The house is in a residential area, not a gated community. It felt very safe and welcoming. Adults and children alike, greeted you with a wave or a hello. There is a park and playground a couple of blocks down the street. We were able to bike to Manasota Key Beach taking trails and backroads so we could avoid the main highway. We found a couple of free little libraries in the neighbourhood where I exchanged a few books during our stay. There is a Walmart, Target, Publix, and Dollar Tree a 5-minute drive away for anything you need. The house comes with a few essentials to get you started (toilet paper, paper towels, soap). There are beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach toys available in the garage. It was also great having use of the garage to keep the car cool during the day. The yard is large enough if you wanted to throw a ball around. With the bedrooms at opposite sides of the house, we didnt hear the baby at all during the night. The house was very comfortable and well equipped with everything you needed to make meals. Our favourite was the pool area and lanai. We loved the shaded outdoor seating for those who wanted to stay out of the sun and the sun loungers for those who wanted to soak up a few rays. There were a few pool toys too. While the pool itself isnt huge nor too deep it was perfect for our family and well maintained. The 2-piece bath off of the pool area is a great feature, no need to track water through the house. The house was as described and as pictured! Lastly, the area - There are several beaches in the area to explore including the shark tooth beach, Caspersen. Most of the beaches have plenty of free parking. Venice and Englewood are small, walkable towns nearby with shopping and restaurants. Sarasota is a 40-minute drive for more entertainment, shops, and restaurants. To reach a 5-star review, we would recommend some plastic kitchen ware to take out to the lanai and a few family games or cards for entertainment. Connie V.
